regarding the falsing out when you hit leaves and such - check to see if your coil cable is bad by wiggling it when the machine is on - if it chatters then you need a new coil or machine if your coil is hardwired. otherwise just lower your sensitivity and or swing above the grass a bit

im 13 and i have been hunting for treasures for 6 years now and found quite a few things. only a few bottles but yesterday i decided to go a little deeper into the woods and found an area with more bottles than u can imagine

I have a question about metal detecting, while i am swinging my Bounty Hunter IV it seems like whenever the coil hits wet leafs or grass it sets it off beeping. Why and what should I do?
