K.I.T.T. ... What can honestly be said about him? He started out as an original issue 1983 Knight Rider kit from MPC. I had gotten tired of seeing him in a box. So, I took it out and worked on it. This was the result. Today, he resides in the north. Under a new owner.

i just bought a kitt manufactured by mpc, its the one that sayd features authentic details, did i make a mistake????

Hey my friend. Kitt here is an MPC original 1983 model piece. Completely hand rubbed in his paint . Which mine is tamiya Black with clear coat. The original car had air extractors located in the front fenders. Later releases, did not include these. Only that year did.

if your car has air extractors behind the front wheel wells, then yes you have the right car for the job to look like mine.
