...and this opening of this spot was "lifted" by the good people of "CBS NEWS SUNDAY MORNING" this past week when they assembled a "Sunday Morning Almanac" segment on the anniversary of the first issue of TV GUIDE {April 3, 1953}- they used it at the very beginning (although they had to slightly "stretch" the picture for a high definition image) ....

I'd have to concur on that . . . besides, I know Richie Havens' voice, and that ain't Richie Havens. Furthermore, the only accompaniment Mr. Havens would've had was a fast-strumming guitar.
