@FunnyBone809 very well said. "paper balck belts" is the perfect definition of todays state of taekwondo.. and u know wat? i bet uve heard ppl say tat taekwondo cannot stand up to other martial ats, its gay, and many stuff like this... taekwondo is an amazing martial art, has speed and a lot of technique.. it is schools like these which give a bad name to the art....
@joelvis65 i understand what you are saying 100% i killed for where i am today for my belt but its all about money with most school our days. on average it would take maybe ten years to get a first degree black belt way back then. but what happened is that everyone and there mother started opening schools and everyone started getting black belts in less then 3 years. so now you have black belts and you have paper black belts. its sad.....
@ThemBonesthere i have to agree with u bro.. how the hell can a kid as small as them get a red belt just for some poomsae?.. its terrible..i remember the blood sweat and tears of my classmates to earn their red belts..doing such things demeans and disgraces taekwondo..
@ThemBonesthere it has nothing to do with being american! dont start with that crap! it depends on the school. im offended because 1st of all im american 2 i do wtf taekwondo IN AMERICA and its a really good school
