Bastille Day in Paris - "la fête nationale" - is a celebration of the end of French monarchy. Rather than big parades with floats like American 4th of July celebrations, the French demonstrate their military power by having each different type of regiment march down the Champs Élysées. After the parade, regiments from most European armies give "demonstrations" in front of Invalides. These guys are part of the Czech army, who did their routine to a medley of music, including the Rocky soundtrack.
