Magnificent song about magnificent peoplle. We pulled into Nova Scotia aboard the USS Milwaukee. My God, you treated us is as if we were your own. My money was no good at any bar. And the way the HMCS Protecteur (SP) took care of us!!! This is one US Sailor that will take offense and kick the ass of anyone who insults any Canadian. =Stefan=

This is my favourite version that I've found, but this video is the only copy that I can find. I'm pretty sure that it's not the Pogey version, can anyone clear that up?

Wow! From the first verse I really loved this upbeat, powerful and just plain fun rendition. I'm not sure who is performing this version, but I love it! I love the slower classic renditions also, but this is new and energetic. It's great!
