This is a compilations of (2) sequences and a panorama still taken during a recent day trip to Horseshoe Meadows in the Golden Trout Wilderness of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. This area is just south of famed Mt. Whitney and is the staging area for multi-day trips up the backside to Whitney peak. Our exit near the end is via Whitney Portal Road which leads to the staging area for frontal climbs up Mt. Whitney. The clouds and the start of the descent are at an elevation of 10,000ft. The panorama was shot at around 8,500ft. All of the images were shot on my Motorola Droid X2 smartphone. The timelapse sequences were shot using the Tina Time-lapse app for Android OS.
