  • LOL at weight difference.

  • @plonski749 Cmon man lets be real, nothing is EFFECTIVE at beating multiple opponents... It can be done but it is improbable. If your an experienced striker and you get in a fight against a bigger untrained opponent then yeah you will probably defend yourself and win, But 2? Your prabably not going to get out looking very good..

  • nice fight

  • @plonski749 First style is don't get into a fight with multiple people haha but I do Goshin Jiu Jitsu and these is were I learn a lot of my combative material for the street. And you'll learn to love BJJ even more

  • @shinobielite009720 what styles would you recommend against multiple attackers? It's possible but you're certainly not going to take your sweet time with submission holds. Although I got to admit, I kinda enjoy jiu-jitsu considering I just started MMA.

  • this guy sucks lmao

  • @shinobielite009720 Grappling is ground and standing up fighting. The Samurai learned Jiujutsu (Which is both standing and ground grappling) and the Ninjas learned Ninjutsu (Which contains a lot of grappling both standing and on the ground).

When someone gets jumped in the street by more than one person, they usually beat the person up on the ground. This is where grappling would come in. When you get up you can use striking or grappling or both. That's why a combination is best.

  • @killerclown789 Do you consider grappling and ground fighting the same thing? If you do then you're wrong about the Samurai and Ninjas, they didn't know how to "grapple" for shit. Secondly, if you're facing two or more oppenents then it's not like you want the fight to go down to the ground. You're both kind of right.

  • @plonski749 Yeah, this is true, but it doesn't matter because be hardly know how to defend against multiple attackers. So what are you getting at?

  • @plonski749 You are actually retarded. Grappling martial art throws, if applied on a solid surface can cause serious injury. Did you know that the Spartans, Samurai and Ninjas used grappling fighting styles? The Russian Spetsnaz use Sambo!

Grappling martial arts can also be used to apply chokes, arm/knee bars etc.

In a street fight, how do you defend yourself on the ground if someone is laying into you? Striking won't work, but grappling will. Why not combine both? Fool.

  • ANYBODY that's worth a damn in fighting nowadays has some kind of grappling background. It's as simple as that. Maybe back in the day pure strikers could be successful but fighting has evolved since then. Any great champion in the history of MMA had some sort of grappling background, period. Even ex-champ Chuck Liddell who was most feared for this knockout power and his hands was a collegiate wrestler, that's why he was so good at defending takedowns or his career would've ended even sooner.

  • Grappling is superior to striking in almost every way! Bottom line! 95% of the time, the man with better grappling ability wins. It's as simple as that. I don't know when people are gonna wake up and get that LOL. Striking has its good points, but in a "One-on-One" fight the better grappler of the two will win 95% of the time. Now, I know people are gonna say, but what about Anderson Silva or GSP?? Doesn't count because they're NOT pure strikers, they're BOTH BJJ Black Belts :)
