  • Really cute...cozy space. I agree that the way to a happy home is through the kitchen. You should make plaques with those words on them. Can I be the first to buy one?I will hang it right in my kitchen!

  • @wordsandherbs Many thanks for all your kind words! You really made our day - in a big way. You betcha - if we ever make a plaque, you'll be our first decorating stop. Have a wonderful day. All the best, Jay

  • and then I found MY kitchen boring, and started to place more color - a bright yellow on one side, color in items details, and now Frida would feel at home - but I am not done yet - I sit and stare, and dream on / what a great, great kitchen you have ! kudos !

  • @contardi Thanks so much! Very kind words - and your kitchen projects sound wonderful. We just let the spirit of the kitchen speak to us - and it said loudly and clearly - RETRO. lol

  • what I liked the most - besides the great use of tray as decoration - was that you were not afraid of colors ! very santa fe style ... it looks like a kitchen frida would love ... and what I did not like (sorry) were the blinds

  • @contardi Thanks so much for the feedback, which is what we advise everyone to follow. Look at each interior as inspiration. Some elements you'll love, some you'll be neutral about, and some you won't care for. But take away the best and use it. I agree with you that the strong color sense and tray collection in this kitchen are lots of fun!

  • Red kitchen! And I spy an aluminum thermos that made the cut. ;) Those fire engine red brick walls are fantastic!! Your vintage kitchen is a total inspiration~
