  • BEST??? Are you new to YouTube? (The girl is OK but this kind of publicity doesn't help her)

  • @sirdicaudore First of all, this is not publicity, it is a homemade youtube video if you don't know the difference. Second, regardless of my words, the singer does her own publicity because she is awesome! And if you think she is ok and you have the right to your opinion, I think I am also entitled to my opinion and I think that this is the best queen of the night. I've also been reading some pretty relevant reviews and I don't think I am the only one who thinks she is the best.

  • I'm wondering what the met is doing!!!Where is the Met?Why so many exciting singers are not already at the Met??I have not heard a most exciting Quuen!!

  • Tiene una coloratura bonita, fácil y brillante pero le falta dramatismo en la voz, sobre todo al principio. Va bien, pero no es la mejor.

  • I wish she would sing it without variations.

  • 2:06 is UNBELIEVABLE!

  • the interpolations aren't that bad. i prefer them without but she pulls them off well. frieda hempel did the same thing. i really like this set btw.

  • Wow!

  • @operafan64 Her singing is amazing, I never put that in the question, her talent is huge and I think we will see some great things from her if she is going to be smart and not overdo herself. It's just a bit too much for me! But still looking forward seeing her in other stuff.

  • As for the embellishments, it's really a matter of personal opinion. Either you like them or you don't. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with what she did here; in fact, it was exciting. There were only a few insertions, and they were well within the spirit & meaning of the aria. The trouble with an aria like this is that we are so used to hearing it sung just one way that when it's changed even slightly, it takes some getting used to. But I think it really worked and enjoyed it.
