This is an awesome game, few "next-gen" games can get close to the level of depth and story quality this game had,
And I put "next gen" on quotes because while gaming has been made a whole lot prettier, it's only looks, most of them are shitloads with no story or brain at all.
When games like Shadowrun were made, gaming development was considered an art and done almost exclusively for the love for the game, today is just a business for white-collar bastards!

ughh this is pathetic when this is the definitive shadowrun game still after all these years.
The 360 game shouldn't have been called shadowrun its misleading its ok for what it is but it isn't a rpg.

@DaysforDays Shadowrun is an actual RPG. Those games that you gather with friends, make your character on the paper and begin to make a role in a story, like Dungeons & Dragons, to be more specific. (XD)
So, the games are just based on the original Shadowrun RPG, that's why they don't seem to be linked in any way. They tell different stories, but use the same background.

Based on the books I would have to say the sega genesis one would be closest to the real thing. Snes one was pretty good but some aspects of gameplay didn't make all that much sense though the bosses where nice. The xbox one doesn't really seem to be shadowrun at all, it looks like a fps with magic attacks and guns pretty much. If they made a GTA style game with aspects from genesis and parts from the snes such as their bosses then that would be a winning combination.
