Peaches the Skunk - Fire Slide :O)

Peaches sleeps with me, my wife, dachshunds Gracie and Happy. They are all too short to get up and down off our bed by themselves and I got tired of getting up in the middle of the night to pick Peaches up - she is a creature of the night and usually comes to bed about midnight, the two dachshunds are the first ones in bed, and Happy is the last one up. Anyway, It is so funny to watch Peaches get down off of my bed. She actually slides down the ramp on her butt like a fireman going down the fire pole and hits the ground running ! Peaches will be 5 years old in May 2011. Yiks how time flies.
I am beginning to think skunks are like a fine wine, they just get better with age. Peaches actually sits in front of the couch now when I am watching TV until I pick her up so she can sleep on my lap. I watch TV and pet her while she sleeps.
