An Evening With Poet Andey Sri

Ande Sri : A natural born poet he has never been to school but learnt things by himself.He was born in a Dalit(Harijan) family , for some unknown reasons his mother left him on street when he was born , he grew as an Orphan. He worked as a Shepherd at local landlords estate . He is an illiterate technically speaking but has a sea of talent and can recite a poem then n there on literally anything under the sun.

Ande Sri a natural poet n nature lover a nature worshipper, he sings and talks of the natural born talents and how nature influences people.

Has won the prestigeous AP state Nandi Award for Best Lyric writer for the film Ganga 2006. Ande Sri mostly composes and sings on nature (prakruti) in Telugu with a touch of local of Telangana ethnicity. He was born in Rebarthi village near Janagaon in Warangal dist , and he was an Orphan .

He was picked up by Swami Shankar Maharaj associated with Sringeri mutt. The swamyji was so impressed by the natural poet with born talent that he initiated him as his disciple and gave him a preferential treatment . He often would say Ande Sri was a Brahmin in true sense and Brahmanism comes with knowledge and not by birth.

Once the swamyji wanted Andey Sri to be part of the Yagna and his disciples objected saying he was a DALIT(Harijan). The Swamyji said if that is wot they feel then I will give him the Jandhyam(Holy thread) and Upanayana. He gave him the mantropadesa and made him part of the yagna. Blessed are Swamiji and Andey Sri who have taught the meaning of true Varna system of Hindu dharama. Andey Sri feels indebted to Swami Ji for having such a social outlook .

A local farmer Malla Reddy was the first who picked him up and initiated him by teaching him folk proverbs n philosophy.

A former president of Viswa Hindu Parishad and Telugu Head Of Dept Osmania University Biruduraju Ramaraju of Madikonda village groomed Andesri. Andey Sri considers himself a foster son of Mr Ramaraju.

Sriram sir is a spiritual guru who has been associated with Ramakrishna mutt was spiritual guru of Ande Sri
