Once seen as a parastatal in tatters and dogged by controversy, today the Kenya Wildlife Service, KWS is quoted as a case study in 19 American universities, thanks to the visionary leadership of Dr. Julius Kipngetich. This is a far cry from 2005 when he was appointed; critics predicted that the stocky and ever smiling director would be shown the door soon after his appointment. But seven years later KWS has recorded tremendous growth in its revenue and is the most successful parastatal. Cynthia Nyamai spent a day with Dr Kipngetich and brings you some insight into how he uses his power, to generate money for the organization, on our Money & Power segment.
I've observed that Kipngetich who is widely titled "Dr" is curiously now referred to as "Mr".
It's in public interest that he confirm if his case is:
#Holds an honorary/earned PhD.
#A consulting surgeon and a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England hence the "Dr" title reverted to "Mr". Then explain absence of the initials FRCS or MRCS after his name.
#aka Marilee Jones, former dean of admissions MIT
#aka German Defence Minister Karl-Theodor
#aka Dr. Rev Samuel Kobia

Which public servant in kenya puts in 12hrs?I've noticed that those who excel are the understated kind like you,Kisia & Githongo who are in it not for a position to feed their ego but for great results.
Haki wewe Dr Kipng'etich i'm so impressed that if your next position was any national office i'd vote for you upende usipende.

This shows that tribe has little to do with character. While the Kalenjin have produced some despicable characters like Moi & Ruto who have left a trail of tears & blood in their wake, the same community has produced exemplary achievers like Kipngetich who has done great things for his country.
