Here R.C. Sproul, Al Mohler, and Ravi Zacharias discuss post-modernism, modernism, liberalism, and the emergent church. Is there any real difference among the four?

truth is too important to kill it (truth) in the streets. Meaning when the truth leaves the church & people mingle in their everyday lives should we let them muddle over what was said & come up with their own take on what was spoken to them in the church? No, the truth is too important to let it die (change into something else) in the streets with people who want to change it to fit their own needs/agenda. We must continue to correct the changers of truth by preaching the Word in its truth.
It's interesting, truth has become what we make it, and not what it is, abosolute. Even in a reletavistic statement you can find that there is the absolute, and the church is definately in need of a tranformation according to the culture it is moving in; the message ver changes, yet the vehicle by which we present the gospel to the post modern generation must. that's what i'm hearing at large.
I'm sorry but you must not have grip on the whole conversation going on here. The men they are talking about here aren't even on the same page when it comes to the essentials so can be no unity. Therefore the non-essentials are moot. Taking someone to task for heresy is hardly a lack of charity, it shows charity to those in your fold to point it out.
There is a movement larger than the emerging church or Rob Bell. It is the increase of ignorant, proud, critical and arrogant people leading churches and posting ignorant comments and videos like this one on YouTube. In most states you need a license to practice law or psychology. But all you need is a mic to speak out of your butt in front of a church group. How very very sad. Pride comes before the fall... timber!
Life, or better yet a society that accept 'all' cannot sustain the understanding toward the responsibilities that proclaim the furtherment of life, better yet the yearnings life projects in the distant future.
