龍が如く3 (Yakuza 3) - Comic Artist Debut : 漫画家デビュー

This isn't Yakuza 4 video. I'm back in Ryu ga Gotoku 3! I'm going to show some of the sub stories that SEGA removed for the western release.

【 漫画家デビュー : Comic Artist Debut 】
This substory happens right before you meet up with Rikiya in Kamurocho. Taichi calls and asks you to buy a copy of YOUNG MAGAZINE, that has "Tetsuya Chiba Comic Award." Kiryu happened to help the guy who got the award. (Hirono) *You can be a pro comic artist by winning these kinds of awards.

But Hirono (the comic artist) was trying to give up his dream of becoming a pro comic artist, since his father told him to become a doctor.

Kiryu goes back to Okinawa and tries to speak to Hirono's father. ... and Kiryu finally finds out the reason why Hirono's father made him stop reading comics. Hirono's father is the one who wanted to be a comic artist and failed!

By the way, comic version of Kurohyo is published in YOUNG MAGAZINE. Personally, I don't think it's the book that a young kid like Taichi would read...

Lol were they inspired by Osamu Tezuka?

He both studied at the university to become a doctor AND drew comics, but the he chose to be a comic book artist...maybe it's just a coincidence? Besides I can't read Japanese...

It would be. The comic artist's looks is very similar to Osamu Tezuka. (Especially beret)

@designedmusic Yeah! I mean, the beret was a typical thing that japanese comic artists wore because of him(Tezuka), but that guy also has glasses and a big nose JUST LIKE Tezuka...

Yeah, I was so glad when Kiryu's chapter started. I felt like I was unchained.

@designedmusic if I can fork over the money by then i'll be good plus the getting use to the characters fighting style was easy i can see all of their (not kazuma he's the best) flaws Saejima as i thought sucks he can't do a dash besides rolling. akiyama has no defensive game and his heat gaining moves like the grab taunt leave him open and him and tanimura have no stability thought the game so you can always be knocked down. Im gonna hate not playing with kazuma and dealing with those flaws

I know dude i cant freakin wait! And i did read somewhere that we are getting the DLCs for free when we buy the game new!!

Except DLC contents, yes. I can't believe that the game will be released in almost 20 days!
