Okay, we've heard the arguments, but for those with a few hundred bucks to drop and every understanding that the fish are having fun too, then a quick swim with the dolphins down the road from Tulum is in order.

  • Funnily, or not, enough - I was sick the day we went, and I didn't realize you weren't even allowed to shoot video on their property, and they in fact tried to boot me out, but I had to wait for some family members who tried the swim, which is why I got only outside shots.

  • Do you know where they got their dolphins from, type into you tube dolphin japan to find out. These amazing creatures are being taken from the wild and their families stabbed to death while they watch. Please dont go on any more dolphin swims, the aquariums are funding this barbaric trade in these fabulous creatures!!

PLEASE STOP THEM - DONT GO!!!

  • I don't endorse one way or the other - but thanks for your comment. I am an avid diver and appreciate the underwater world, but some people will want to know what to expect if they are going to pay a ton 'o cash for the experience. I did not delete your comment in order that consumers can make their own decision.

  • Hi there RawGraeme, thanks for not deleting my comments, I do not want to offend anyone at all. I too went on a dolphin swim 2 yrs ago before I knew where they realy come from. All I can say is that when you pay loads of cash to swim with or visit these places they use your money to fund catching more wild dolphins, they have to keep catching more because the poor dolphins hate captivity and often die after a year or so. DONT give them any more MONEY!
