That's What You Get - Chapter 5

Okay guys, so I'm not getting views on this. But ya know what? I don't care. None of my stories are getting good views. So, Ima just have to face it. Oh well. By the way, Demi's new CD is amazing! Okay, its official. I'm grounded. My mom saw my D was extra upset, and grounded me. For two weeks. Well, I guess I understood why though. Chemistry wasn't even that hard, its just I got lazy on the test, bombed that BAD and didn't do the extra credit he gave me...

I guess I should fill you in on what happened in those two weeks. That Friday was Homecoming. I had my dress, which was a light blue shorter one with a v-neck. Taylor wore a light blue shirt to match my dress, black dress pants and a black jacket. (AN a nice like suit jacket!) He looked very handsome. We hung out with Selena and Jack and David and Melanie. Melanie was a girl that David hung out with sometimes, when he wasn't with me and Selena. They went as friends. After Homecoming, a bunch of Taylor's friends went out. Drinking. They asked him to go with them, but he said no. That he wanted to be with me. That made me feel special.
Tonight, we had planned for our first date. I was getting ready in the upstairs bathroom when I heard the doorbell ring. Taylor was supposed to get here at 6:30, so it couldn't be him. I looked at my clock. 6:41. CRAP! I still had to get dressed and finish my makeup! I heard my mom answer the door as I was running around everywhere to try and finish getting ready.
"Hey Mrs. Klemmer. Nina ready?" I heard Taylor ask as I was putting on my skinny jeans.
"Uh, well, I don't think yet. I'll go find out for you hun." She came to the bottom of the steps and called up to me, "Nina Marie, are you ready yet?"
As I was putting on my jeans, my foot got stuck and I fell. "OUCH!" I yelled as I hit the floor pretty hard. "Uh, well I'm almo...No, no I'm not. Just a few minutes, I promise!" I called back down. I ran and grabbed my top off of my bed.
"Come on Nina!" I heard Taylor yell up to me. I put my iPod and a few other things in my purse and then grabbed my heels and phone and ran down the stairs.
"I'm so sorry Taylor! I wasn't paying attention to time and..."
"It's okay." He looked at his watch. "I've only been waiting 20 minutes."
"Whoa! You've been waiting for me for 20 minutes? No wonder you were rushing me, I'm so sorry!"
"Its okay. Come on, we should probably get going," he said, holding his hand out for me. I took it.
"Bye mom, I'll be home later," I said, walking out the door.

After dinner, Taylor took me home and took me to my door.
"Bye Taylor." I started talking faster as I got more and more nervous. "Thanks for taking me out to dinner, it was a really nice place and the food was great, oh and the service was too..."
"Nina...stop talking..." he said, grabbing my face gently, pulling my chin up. He leaned down and kissed me. His lips were soft on mine and I kissed him back. He pulled back after a some time and smiled. He towered a whole 8 inches over me (AN he's 6' 1". In this story. I know, kinda tall, but I want him to be tall :] ) "Goodnight Nina," he said.
"Night Taylor," I said, watching him go. He got in his car, turned it on, saw me watching him and smiled real big. Then he pulled out and left.
I walked into my house with a big grin on my face. "I'm home!" I called out, not knowing where my mom was.
She came out of the kitchen all smiley and happy. "Guess where you're going this summer?" she asked me intently.
"Hello to you too mom," I replied.
"Sorry, hi hun," she spoke quickly. "But seriously, guess!"
"Uh, to grandma's?" I guessed, taking a stab.
"Uh, no Nina, not grandma's again."
"Whoa, really?" Normally I went to my grandma's house every summer. "Well then, where am I going?" I wonder where I could be going...maybe to like, Hawaii or something to some long lost cousin's house, or...Germany! That would be so cool. Or maybe Russia, England...Dude, that would be so much fun, with their accents and everything! And the cool buses with the seats on the top and Big Ben and stuff! England is so awesome! Maybe France, all romantic and such. That would be cool...
"Camp Rock!"
"What?"
"Yeah! Camp Rock! Aren't you excited?" she asked me, excited herself.
Camp Rock? What the heck is that? Oh wait, I know this!...Um, it was this one camp for like, musical peeps, ya know? Like singers and instrument players and stuff. Ooo! Like me! "Oh my gosh mom, no way! This is nuts, I gotta tell Selena!" I yelled back to her running into my room and sitting bed. This was going to be an AMAZING summer!
