@ thetragedyofbirth same and I know what ya mean but my family has a street named after us so we own a bigger house than the rest on which used to be a rich street now just less popular lol !
i lived in Manchester for 5 months, im proud to say they were 5 of the best months of my life. The people are down to earth, & on the level, compared to mostly all other English cities. I liked the nightlife & bars & pubs there the best of anywhere. + manchester is way better shopping than London.
and not far from the city centre, there are areas of 70% unemployment, islamic ghettoes, and chronic racial tension. Manchester, a diverse and vibrant city.
of course i have never been so appreciative of the place i live in, sure it caters for tourists, but we're talking big money being spent to do it up, and that is reflecting in the prices, sure tourists spend that kinda money, but natives, not as much.
