@spaceguitars Thats so cool.. My dad was captain on 440s with Rich International back in the day. He just retired 777 captain with United. Peas in a pod.

After leaving the German Air Force (where he served on the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter) this was the first commercial airliner my dad flew as a co-pilot when je joined Swissair. Three decades later he retired as a captain on the B747-300. What a career! He flew quite a number of planes. I always loved to be with him sitting on the jump seat. Thanks for posting this goegeous girl.

hehe thanks! the old convair is an old girl but she turns a head or two... and flying this is the most awesome experice ive ever had in a plane... glad for your dad's carreer 747-300 is not little convair.. :P but then again she cant give you the oily hands and weathered look a convair will give you after some years... thanks for your comment

old, dirty, trustworty and epic.. but dirty sumarizes it all very well, a plane we all love and hate to clean up..
