  • Lane Kiffen did not want Knox to grow up singing Rocky Top. In comparison, I can't blame him!

  • Who in bloody hell orchestrated this? I have the original ms as composed by Alfred Newman for the film. What you are hearing is not only poorly performed, but is also a pale imitation of the original.

  • @grailchaser Not on your life.

  • Why in bloody hell do you call this orchestral work a 'song'. Songs have lyrics. "Conquest" does not.

  • I swear they have this piece of music in the movie "The Fall of the Roman Empire". :)

  • @ZeekWolfe1 True on Notre Dame. But it doesn't seem to affect Andrew Luck.

  • obviously 2 people have been conquered

  • When the Notre Dame football team comes into the Coliseum and hears this music and sees 95 thousand USC fans, they usually melt like a snowball in August. Similarly, in the old days when NFL teams would come into the Coliseum, hear the crowd and see Rams horn helmets on the other side of the field, they knew win or lose they would get the beating of their lives. St. Louis Rams have become wusses. But Trojans still rule.

  • sounds like gladiator
