tcom. it's there. -
@mamtazzia Sorry to say, but they only way is to find someone that may have it recorded from that broadcast. Thankfully my dad recorded an airing of a different broadcast with Alan Thike doing the narraration. Far far supperior to Ringo. After listening to Alan Thike for years, I cannot listen to the Ringo one, it doesn't sound genuine.

Does anybody know if the Dustin Hoffman version can be found somewhere? I'm sooo curious. The cartoon combined with Harry's singing is hypnotising me, can't get enough of it. Thanx for uploading?

@bjbinmke I also saw the same broadcast back in the early '70s, and agree that Dustin Hoffman's original narration is far better than Ringo's....
Zero dislikes. Damn fucking straight.

Forty years ago, one night when I was in high school, my parents went out, I got stoned, turned on the TV, and saw this excellent little cartoon for the first time. It was narrated by Dustin Hoffman. Recently, I got the DVD for a five-year old. He wasn't stoned, of course, but I think he enjoyed it every bit as much as I had all those years ago. But the evil count scared him a bit, and he covered his eyes. The DVD was narrated by Ringo Starr. I liked the Dustin Hoffman version better.
