Is the ATOM street legal? Yes and no. It has not been certified for street use in the US. It has not been submitted for crash testing or emissions testing. That is the no part of the answer. The yes part is really a 2 part. First check your state laws on registering kit cars. Most states it is pretty easy and you could register the car as such. The other answer is that there are a number of questionable importers that will certify it. Most likely you will have to register it as a kit car anyway.
