This is caused by the shutter speed its just a bug!!!!

ya i could believe that there just bugs if people weren't seeing them with there naked eye no camera and pictures so i believe history did a good job but i dont believe rods should be signaled out just because of good tv lol

I've seen in other filming rods that are nothing more than birds in flight.
In one stands out even the beak, it's probably a duck or a heron.
I know there is a great desire of mystery, the reality is much simpler and, I'm sorry, much less attractive

I think the movie in China had nothing to do with the rods.
There are many videos on the rods, where it is evident that the speed and much lower than you think.
I still say that in all probability are just insects.
Usually the simplest explanation and logic is always the right one

Then explain the 33 foot long rod caught on tape in China and the one chased by a Mig which is estimated to be twice as large as the Mig. Can moths travel at multiple Mach speeds? Sorry but History Channel just proved to me who's side they are on.

@videofan006 sometimes it takes irrefutable evidence to make idiots realize that they are clinging to some figment of their uneducated imagination, when in reality, the mundane can still be fascinating.
I'm disappointed that rods aren't some kind of newly discovered species, but glad to actually have an explanation for the phenomenon... thanks.
Hilarious disclaimer!
