  • Is th 6100 boost with the maxon 808 too?

  • @rilone31 The 6100 isn't boosted in this video. That's just raw amp tone.

  • Is that the 6L6 or EL34 Model. Your midrange sounds the latter to me.

  • @hotstuffsmartass It's the EL-34 model - I messaged you back yesterday telling you that :P

  • LOL the cat ran across the room!

  • haha.

  • Damn, the 6100 sounds godly.

  • The 6100 is still one of Marshall's most underrated amps for sure , not taking anything away from the 2203 , but the 6100 imo blows it away in many areas.

The 2203 is a true classic that set the benchmark for standards in the 80's !! if you were another amp manufacturer in the 80's , the 2203 was the amp you tested against ....and many fell short .

  • I love the cat jumpin all over the amps :)

  • @licensedinkaos

    Yeah thx.

  • Hey, thanks for the reply. I cant remember if I messaged you back.

I prefer your crunch to mine for sure. I am converting to EL34s, I cant stand the 6L6s, the low mid shift is poo for Marshall crunch. I can't wait for my EL34 crunchies!

I would like to know what a close mic sounds on your rig. Have a clip?
