@VirtueSeven I believe that the point is to branch off, as does virtually every remix.
So yea. . .from a professional engineer- it DOES touch it. It builds upon it, respects it, and then goes off and does its' own thing. . . as is the wont of every last musician or producer doing a remix. It carries the idea forward.
Haters need not apply.
