The Blizzard 8611pp has been great so far this season. This blade does trip down and snaps back very hard, smashing the lights out of its cases. A shock to absorb this would be great but not an option from Blizzard. Has anyone adapted one to fit??

We have had the 10 foot fisher XLS for almost 4 years now and like it also. The rubber flaps on the bottom of the wings tend to rip off a bit to easy and they are not cheap to replace.

We have had many Fisher 8.5 foot Vs and think they are very reliable but are to small in comparison and will not be buying any more.

  • looks like the 8611 it carrys a ton of snow. does it trip easy in wet snow??

  • @heavyequipmentman100 Our first winter did not have those conditions but I doubt it would be a problem. If the snow is that heavy may just have to operate with the wings in as I am sure the truck would be working extra hard with an 11 foot span in heavy deep snow.
