On Wednesday 20 October 2010 workers from Kalkaringi and Daguragu, two Aboriginal communities on Gurindji land in the Northern Territory, stopped work and held a protest against the NT Intervention attended by more than 200 people. This video documents the deteriorating living and working conditions suffered since the Intervention and the determination of local people to fight for Land Rights and equal pay, reviving the spirit of the famous Wave Hill walk-off in 1966.
NT intervention ! What a joke, goverment should be ashamed. Let our people be, let our people run their own land, let our culture live on....Government just cant admit how wrong they are, they just have NO CLUE
