im currently planning in making a homemade taser.... I'll by using an lm555 microcontroller to get a mosfet to make a current variation into a audio tranformer 1k to 2000k,
Should be getting the voltage over 2000 volts.

@thewamena use a grill ignitor for that, works the best and is small

I based a tazer of my own off a disposable camera, but i beefed up everything, managed to get 5000 volts, destroyed my multimeter and worked like an ark welder, TOO WELL, managed to get it stuck to the underside of a park bench and had to come back the next day with wire cutters. ;)
