Penny (#2)

Dennis has helped train 5 of our own foals born on the farm (Rain, Zephyr, Riptide, Wasp, Mudpie), as well as helping break his own mare, Bunni, when Orin & I first started her @ 2yrs old. After working with Cindy's Bandit gelding and doing well with him, Cindy brought her filly Penny in for him to train and work. I believe Penny is a 3yr old Paint/Pinto/Arab (I'm not certain). Where Bandit was calm & quiet, Penny was flighty and ready to go ... always! After a week of running with our herd and Orin's arab/qtr mare Allie ... Penny was almost impossible to catch. LOL, gotta love the playful arab blood though. After 3 nights of having to rope her to get ahold of her, she found a new home in the barn. Definately not pleased with the situation, that changed the training tactics a little, so that each afternoon he would turn 'little miss hotstuff' out in the arena to get it out of her system. She's a smart horse and learned the game well and settled into the schedule like a champ. Dennis enjoyed working with her saying that she was definately his type of horse.
