I didnt think much of this particular pedal till u flipped it to A, then it took on valve like tonality. A bit of fiddling but you can get a decent distortion out of it.

@ace69er Thx acer ... yes, I think the L and A modes really open it up. I probably should have started the intro on A or L modes, but you're right ... those modes take on a more tube-like sound. Thx bro - rock ON!

Man! loving the new riffs!!! I really like the fine tunning feature. Again, I wouldn't be too quick rating this pedal just based on the sound in this video. Just like TTK says, everybody's gear is different. In my opinion, this pedal with a hair less drive dialed in, in front of a creamy overdriven tube amp would cut right through the mix. Lots of features and controls in one pedal... I like versatile gear that you can tweak for days! Thanks for the video TK. Cheers.

First, I want to make sure I thank TTK for being gracious enough to make this demo on such short notice. I know that this video isn't the most flattering on the tone of the Dark Horse, but I promise you, it does sound better than this (especially the first half). There are a ton of controls, and I should have let TTK have some time to get familiar with the pedal before laying down his sweet riffs. Thanks again TTK, I just feel bad I wasn't able to give you a little more time. -- Peter

Man, the distortion processing section of my brain is going into input overload! They are all starting to sound the same. Between this one, the MXR and Tube Screamer, I can't tell them apart anymore.
