im not familiar with the bracket system, but if this is the winner's final and x17 was losers, doesn't the winner here play the winner of the losers in grand finals? or is losers bracket just to find who won 3rd place

IaMP is RR prelims and single elim semis in Japan. There's no second chance to get a grand finals, whoever advances the farthest wins.
