Here is a test of a completely stock Crosman phantom 500 in .22cal. The gun had alot of oil all over the stock, and dieseled quite horribly. For the money this is really a great gun, but alot of work most be done to get them to their peak performing ability.......
More videos to come of what happens when a little bit of work is done to the Phantom to speed it up, smooth it out, and make it look a little more customized....

  • i like vidoe bud but if u look at the front of box it said large pest control small pest control and target shooting

  • @gobles24

Small pests are mice, large pests are crows or rats...A popcan could be a target, but these guns are really nice for the money especially when they are tuned they can be very smooth guns.

  • this is only 99.00 at my local walmart, should i get it?

  • @Psycho12345123

Definitely, it is a great gun for the money...

If you are new to airgunning, this gun will last you awhile...

  • @gobles24 dont listen to people that say they arent hunting guns!! i will post some vids soon i REGULARLY get squirrells and rabbits where i live in Ontario and i use a phantom 500x with a 9x32 scope. it will go thru the skull of a racooon if you can hit it. dont underestimate the power of 495fps........ also a few drops of lube into you pellet tin with a good shake down can really help velocity of the shots. i ALways lube my pellets when i buy em.

  • hey man i got the same gun do you know what it averages with the primer hollow point and also witch would you recommend for hunting the pointed or the hollow points

  • does the velocity get better when it stops desiling

  • @etwangboy

It takes 30-35lbs of effort, not too hard, a small child can use this gun with supervision...

  • @monsterspectacularrc

    yeah, Canadian Tire special...lol
