Years ago my first wife had a relative who played in the White House Band. I thought is was a local restaurant at the time. She explained it was the White House. Ho hum, we went to a concert when he came to town. Then my mother-in-law said off handedly that for two weeks he played with Spike Jones! My respect went thru the roof!
