@princedawson My Advice would be to buy a Pentax K20D which offer much better consumer friendly photos, less time in Photoshop and better made. With Canon your just paying for a name. The only advantage Canon has over Pentax is the Big Zoom lenses have faster image lock on for very fast moving objects, but then that kind of photo doesn't put money in your pocket !
@HARMONICA777 No good for changing batteries at a wedding then!!. My Pentax 20D I can change batteries without loosing the bride and groom getting married jejejeje
I have the same problem too with my 50D :( It would be great if any Camera pros could help on this issue which would in turn help us get the issue rectified asap. :) Thanks in advance.
NON of your comments are true, seems he has the habit of NOT switching the camera off before he removes the battery. Look at 1:32 at the mistake he made. If he DID switch the camera off FIRST, it will cancel the problem. I done it by mistake in a hurry to change batteries on my 30d and 50d and had the same problem.
Next time he MUST wait 5minutes AFTER he SWITCHED off and then remove the batteries , wait another 5 minutes so the electronics can be reset. Insert batteries and then it will work.
Agreed, Battery grips can do weird stuff to ya camera. I would remove it, change to another lens and reset the whole thing, also remove and place the battery back, see if the error continues.

No it can work with 1 perfectly. They run parallel if you use 2 at once.
