No, being aggressive toward religion is not the answer. However NATURALLY religion will dissipate, the more educated the society.

You are saying that people cannot believe in a religion and that religion needs to be eliminated. You want to eliminate my beliefs so that I am a slave to yours.

At this point in your thinking you are the perfect definition of a HYPOCRITE The Indians were not Christian. But they were still religious, they practiced nature worship and the great sky spirit etc. You ARE religious.

I agree the Old Testament was imperfect. God showed the world that things of the spirit cannot be done in the flesh. God sent his son Jesus to move everything to a spiritual level. He testifies of love towards our Creator and love towards one another. And you still hate him for it. You have the same mind as those he was dealing with in the ancient of days. Christianity has not failed man. Man has failed Christianity. Again, why do you hate God and his son Jesus??

If you have a book that plainly details the sins of people, it suddenly becomes an evil book in and of itself.

God never institutes the things you've said above. In fact, there are strict prohibitions against rape, slavery (or at least strict circumstances in owning what I would call "servants", not slaves), and discrimination.

Those are fairly stock-standard attributes of God. I see no reason why anyone would follow a God that had no power and had no gathering.

And yes, sometimes the stuff in Zeitgeist is a blatant contradiction, like birth dates and method of dying, and the virgin births. Most of these are completely contradictory to the original stories of their respective gods.
