Create a new document
I'm going to use these sizes. Width 1000/ Height 500/ Resolution 150.
Using the horizontal type tool, I'm going to type the words Baby Boy.
Open the texture/picture you would like to use as the pattern
Go to edit, then scroll down to define pattern to save it as a pattern
Now, return to text document..
Set fill opacity to 100%
At the layer drop down box, select layer styles, then blending options. I'll be using serveral of these
First, the drop shadow.
Blending mode set to multipy, and I'll leave the color black.
Change the opacity to 85%
The angle of 120* with global light, is fine
Change the distance to about 15 px
Adjusting the spread to what looks good to you. But, I'm going to set this at 20
The Contour linear, with the anti-aliased unchecked. Noise 0% and Layer knocks out drop shadow, checked
Check the inner shadow.
I'm going to change this to a blue. But, color scheme will depend on your project
change the opacity to about 45%
Adjust this angle to 110%
Set distance and size to 7px
leaving the choke at 0%
Leave the contour at linear, anti-aliased unchecked, and noise at 0%
Check the outer glow style
Leave the blend mode on screen
Opacity set at 75%
Technique to softer,
Spread set to 0% and change the size to about 20
Leave the quality set as is
Check the inner glow
Changing the blend mode to Linear dodge (add)
Opacity to 15%
Noise 0%
Element technique to precise. Leaving the source (edge) checked
Put the choke at 10% and the size at 10%
Change the quality contour to cone, check the anti-aliased, range set to 73
Check the bevel and emboss box. Style set to inner bevel,
Depth set to 61% , direction checked down, size 12%, soften 6
Shading angle 120%, check global light, altitude 30*, gloss contour set to ring, anti-aliased checked.
Highlight mode linear dodge (add), opacity 80%. shadow mode 0%
Check contour box, change to ring, check anti-aliased, range at 50%
Check the texture, click on the texture box, select the texture saved, scale to desired size.
I will set this at 65% and the depth to 10%, link with layer box checked
Next check the satin box
Opacity set at 15%, the angle set to 0%, distance to 25%, Size set to 20%
Concour set to gaussian, and invert it
Check pattern overlay, select the pattern you saved, and scale it to 65%, with the link with layer box checked
check stroke box, set structure size to about 5px, position set to center, blend mode to normal with 100%
Change the fill to gradient (using a blue gradient, style to linear, change the angle to 90*
Adjust the scale to a desired appearance. I want the light areas along the top and bottom edges. This looks good at about 33%
Now let's save what we've done as a style.
The saved style can be used again, saving the steps.
Creating another text
Click the saved style, and apply to text.
Open the stoke style, in the gradient box, I'm picking s pick gradient for the stoke
Then save that as a style, for later use.
and we're done. Thank you for watching. For more tutorial ideals, drop me a message
