60i to 24p Slow Motion test - Slow Moves

Taking 60i footage and slowing it down and deinterlacing to 24p to get smooth slow motion. All done in Sony Vegas.

there's a bunch! it's not just one effect, it was an fx chain made up of multiple different ones stacked on each other.

To get a smililar effect I usualy use Sony Vegas Pro 10, Brightness with contrast, with contrast up a good bit, color balance tweak, and black and white up to desaturate the colors. What about you? Nice video by the way!

Any reason why you went from 60i to 24p? typically you want to go 60i to 30p

Beautiful footage, but the vignetts is SO huge. Looks bad. I love the contrast.If I were you, I'd get twixtor or AE's pixel motion. With good footage, you can slow it down 2000 times.

Don't believe me, search twixtor and you will see.

I have AE, I interpreted 60p footage to 24p, and then stretched it 20,000 times the normal length, which was a fraction of a second. It was a longboarder sliding.

Whats the difference between 60i and 60p. I know its interlaced and non interlaced, but visually, whats the difference.
