  • does anyone know how much it would cost to buy a Diane Bish signature series Allen organ?

i looked up the organ at the Allen website but no prices are listed

i like how you can select which sampled pipes you would like to have. i'd probably go with Arp Schnitger sampling

i saw this episode today on tv. the Diane Bish Allen organ sounds awesome

  • @VD54K You would need to email or call an Allen Organ representative and they would be able to give you some quotes on pricing.

  • beautiful music on on a magnificent digital

  • @VD54K Our Masonic Lodge bought an Allen organ in 2000 almost identical to the one she is playing, but it was not Her Signature version which has some feature that are slightly different. We paid over $80,000 for our organ. Her comparable version was over $100K. Also, those organs did not have the variable tuning which was not available at that time. My Guess is that same organ 10 years later would be in the $125k range or more, but they are wonderful instruments. Well worth the investment.

  • slow

  • Aren't the pedal notes in the beginning doubled? I have a copy of the score and it has double pedalled notes.

  • ok...thats not the symphony no.3 Allegro.....that's the finale from symphony no.4

  • I never knew of this selection, and since hearing it, I'm going to learn the work asap. Thanks for a wonderful presentation by Diane Bish - very inspirational! I have this composition as Widor's Final from Symphony No. 4....is this correct? Thanks for posting!

  • In this video, the Expression pedals' positions can be tracked from the LED display at the right of the coupler rack (first used with the Allen MDS Digital Computer Organs and carried over to Renaissance and Quantum).
