Can you not read? It's in oil, not water. Oil is not water.

Actually, with the water cooler addition keeping the CPU cool (+GPU would be nice) the oil is able stay at a lower temp, thus cooling the rest of the components such as Capacitors and Transistors. And keeping the smaller things cool was the initial point of Submersion based cooling systems. This allows for hick-ups and crashes to be a thing of the past, providing a longer lasting system and stability. Plus the WOW factor kicks ass :-P

@jlan12 Are you stupid? He said it was a jumbled mess, not oily, or slippery, or anything of that nature. He was referring to the fact that you have hoses and shit all over the place that are ruining the aesthetics of your PC. If you tidy up the PC through cable management, or anything that doesn't look like a retard dropped the guts of a PC into a fish aquarium for that matter, it will be much more impressive.

@jlan12 Yeah, and keeping the oil cool results in not having to change it as often :) What you should do is get some decently thin Mineral Oil and use a watercooling kit and see how that works - I bet you that'd be even better than water itself.

Person 2- when are you going to upgrade your graphics card?
Person 1- What......
-
how can it not be short circuited with liquid on the electronic parts? What's so special about this oil? Could you dip any old computer?
-
That looks like a potential nightmare if a piece of hardware breaks and you need to replace it or if you ever need to update it. Cool though.
Erm... do I see a water cooling kit in an oil submerged pc... if so what's the bloody point ? lol.

No, there is no water cooling in this video. I did, however, submerge one later, but only because my retention bracket broke and a water cooling kit was the only thing I had on hand to fix it. It actually worked out ok though, because the water cooling kit helped keep the oil cool.
