There's a scene in the Jerry Lewis movie, The Family Jewels in which a woman at a gas station asks Jerry to get her a few bottles of Bubble Up. I've seen that movie dozens of times over the years and always thought that the brand "Bubble Up" was something that was made up for just that movie. That is up until now. I've never seen or heard of Bubble Up soda (I was 9 years old in 1978 and never saw this commercial. I've heard of 7up, but "Bubble Up"?). NOW I realize it was a product placement. :-)
Coke forced it's retailers to push Sprite putting Bubble Up out of business.

Another example of why 11 seconds just isn't long enough to do an effective commercial.
