The film depicts a future in which human beings, known as "Oms" (a word play on the French-language word hommes, meaning men), have been brought by the giant Draags to the Draags' home planet, where they are kept as pets (with collars). The Draags are an alien race which is humanoid in shape but hundred times larger than humans, with blue skin, fanlike earlobes and huge, protruding eyes. The Draags also live much longer than human beings -- one Draag week equals a human year. Some Oms are domesticated as pets, but others run wild, and are periodically exterminated. The Draags' treatment of the Oms is ironically contrasted with their high level of technological and spiritual development.

  • Spiral hippos are just evil.

  • The little Hatchling should of known better then to let a Strange Creature lick him.

  • hehehe! i totally love this flick. i'd like to see a live action version of it.

the question is, are smurfs and this new Avatar film just glorified versions of this? I think YESH.

  • Yeah, I like that. He'll give the Playdraag interview later, when the Draags have been conquered and redeemed. "Yeah, I knew my daughter was playing with fire, but she can be kind of a pain when she doesn't get what she wants."

He'll be wearing a nice turtleneck.

  • I'm glad that all the parts of this movie have been posted. I remember watching this on Night Flight as a kid, except they just had the French version. It was creepy for me to watch as a kid, and it is still sorta creepy, but I appreciate it more now as an adult.

  • Is there not a list of videos from start to end in one language? :)

  • What happened to number six?
