E bellissimo incontrarvi. Sono cosi felice che I love you Philip Morris sia a Cannes. Devo scusarmi con voi perche dovro andare via presto, dato che sto promuovendo qui anche un altro film, A Christmas Carol [qui il video dell'evento e una scena del film in anteprima]. Si, sono il formaggio nella bocca del topo! Sono onorato che Luc Besson abbia prodotto questo film e spero di lavorare ancora con lui, spero di poter essere diretto da lui in un suo film. Nella mia vita sono state poche le sceneggiature per cui ho avuto un sentimento ben preciso, quello di volerle a tutti i costi. Queste sceneggiature sono Truman show, The eternal sunshine of the spotless mind e I love you Philip morris. Dopo aver letto lo script, non avevo alcun dubbio, nessuna domanda mi ronzava in testa. Volevo farlo e basta, ho chiamato il mio agente e gli ho detto: Lo voglio, lo devo fare assolutamente, anche a costo di offrirmi di farlo gratis. Non ho dovuto fare davvero questa offerta maha funzionato! Pagine e pagine attraversate da questuomo che vuole nientaltro che amore Sono entusiasta anche dei registi, della loro grazia, intelligenza e del loro humor, della loro sensibilita, del modo in cui hanno deciso di raccontare questa storia cosi complicata e rischiosa. Mi hanno mandato a quel paese un paio di volte, ma quelle parti le abbiamo tagliate! Ma avreste dovuto esserci, quando gridavano : cut! clean on it! Sono onorato di fare parte di questo film, e sono orgoglioso di essere qui per loro."

Clearly the most underrated actor on the planet. If you look at some of the serious stuff he's done, it's remarkable. Most people only know him as Ace Ventura or The Mask, but some of his best work nobody's ever seen.
