Bryn Mawr Mainliners Barbershop Chorus - 45th Anniv. Contest

As we begin our 45th year this retrospective of the Mainliners' contest portraits gives a glimpse of our shared obsession - barbershop harmony. Set to the Mainliners' 2007 District contest song, Side by Side, this video captures the true spirit of the Mainliners.

I hope you enjoy this quick taste of Mainliners history.

If you are a singer and have interest, I strongly suggest you find a chorus near you. There are over 800 chapters of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) in the US.

I sang with the Mainliners in the 1988-1989 season, under the direction of Eric Jackson. I shall never forget the wonderful experience, the friendship and the musical talents around me. I learned so much that year. Mainliners - I love you all, you're a wonderful bunch of people and you sing marvelously well. Now go out there and win International!
