I would give anything to have them back. I love them and miss them both so much. For those of you out there who still have your parents cherish them because you never know what could happen. We knew my dad was dying but my mom was taken by a sensless act of another human being.

I lost my dad in 2004 when I was 16 and my mom was killed by a drunk driver in 2005 when I was 17. This song really hits home for me. There are times I feel like I am completely alone in this world even though I have extended family, but NO ONE can and will ever take their place. I know they are looking down on me and making sure I do the best I can in everything I do but it's not the same. There are times where I too have thought about taking my own life to be with them.

Although i liked this song when it first came out, it has a lot more meaning now that my father passed last year and my mother is in and out the hospital constantly due to a combination of c.o.p.d. and asthma. We are not that close but i still don't wish death on her. Without my dad-- there are alot of times i feel alone but i know he's around me everyday.

I lost both of my parents when I was ten due to a house fire n I was the only one that was survived but in my mind im still dead I lost the foundation of my life n suffered along the way so I love Ginuwine for making this showing that Men Do Cry like everyone else

this reminds me is when I was 9 years old & that was the last time I saw my dad back in 2002. I try to stay strong & let go of this pain I've been dealing for over 10 years and my mom was always there for me. Sometimes I would take my own life away if people would stop writing me off, hurting me inside of my heart & I feel all alone without no care, sometimes I feel shitty.

I havent lost my parents but one year I lost 9 people one right after the other. One was my first love. its been almost 2 years and the pain never fades. Cherish the people you have. They wont always be there.
