Prevention of family-based violence in Afghanistan

Social protection and development of independent media are a small part of the EU assistance, but of great importance against the background of human rights and fundamental liberties. AFGA is a non-governmental and non-political organisation which has been working on reproductive rights and family planning in Afghanistan for over four decades. Since 2006 it is implementing a project to prevent family-based violence that particularly affects women and children in Afghanistan.
