Paul Potts knows nothing about music...he is not a singer. This guy here actually knows a little bit about singing and with more work will become really good.

Actually "spg5351", I have been professionally trained. This indeed IS a difficult...challenging and dangerous piece to sing if one hasn't been trained...and still sings it often. This man did a nice job. When u look at the other amateur renditions on here...this one was rather nice. Sure things can be improved..but my performances need tweaking often-times as well. I think this site is better used for displaying and encouraging talent, than to ridicule and belittle someone for trying.

this man has so much vocal tension its ridiculous. with training he could be something but as of right now he would need years of work before that piece could be sung publically to a sophisticated audience and not in a church.

My all time favorite aria. I own 6 recordings of 'Turandot' where this comes from. I own 73 different recordings of this aria. I can't get enough if it. I was blessed enough to hear Pavarotti sing it live; & I think this is the most inspirational performance. Some say that this or that wasn't perfect, but he's YOUNG. Male voices don't really mature till mid 30's. I've sung this piece for 15 years, You gave ME chills! Thanks and post more and more recent versions. BRAVO!

Stop comparing this guy to Potts. This lad seems to know how to sing whereas Potts does not. Albeit young, he hit every note, and with practice he'd excel.
