  • There was something in those ballerinas from 50's, 60's, 70's - they weren't as skinny as ballerinas now, they didn't have such extensions, but when you look at them, their dance is very strong technically, but still very artistic, poetic and light.

Thanks for all your videos, they're amazing.

  • THANK YOU. My mother, a lifelong ballet lover, loved this clip. When I see it I remember her. Wasn't Kurgapkina delicious?

  • Ninel came to teach in Los Angeles for a few weeks in 1995. Within one week her class was packed not because we all knew who she was but because her class was so good. She pushed us harder than any teacher i've ever had even though i've taken from many ballet teachers in New York since 1977 and many in Los Angeles since 1993. In Ninels class people improved quickly because her class was so exellent and because she expected everyone to work at 110%.

  • It's an entire Fred and Ginger movie condensed to five minutes of ballet ...

  • She's like an aerial creature ... so light and expressive! Extraordinary.

  • Incredible beauty and grace...

This is great, thanks for posting. I only wish this sort of thing was danced

more often. Nowadays a lot of ballet lacks artistry, everybody seems to only think of technic.. Both are vital.

  • @shulien229 Delicious indeed!

  • omg...they´re falling in love! This is superb dancing, not only technique...this makes me cry...SOOOOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL

  • Whenever I want to smile and feel sheer joy, I watch this number. I never grow tired of watching them!

  • Nagyon szuper.Köszönöm.
