Doctor WHeasel & The Next Doctor (Review)

Christmas, never a time for Doctor Who to rest on his laurels. Or is it their laurels? Either way as David Tennant meets the Next Doctor, it's time for Doctor WHeasel to meet...the next Doctor Wheasel? And maybe review the Christmas special at the same time.

Meh, the thanking scenes made me vomit and oh look they are destroying London again. Jackson Lake was very brilliant at the start and then he turned into a wimpy coward. Thought he needed to redeem himself somehow. I thought the CyberSheep were an improvement on the CyberMats though. Had rather hoped they would turn out to be the kidnapped children in a sick kind of way.

On Christmas day full of good cheer the thanking scenes stuck in the throat, how they must have seemed to you now - oy vey!

And I agree - I thought the CyberSheep would be kids - much darker "If you don't watch out, the CyberController will turn you into CyberSheep" - it would have had a real Fagin vibe to it!

I really didn't like the episode, to be honest. It seemed like the next doctor was just a pompous idiot, and the actual doctor sort of just sat around.

Also, I love your videos, but... since I am American, I sometimes have trouble understanding you. ^^;;;

I flicked through some a couple of week's ago at a mate's house - lord has the art in the comic strip gone downhill from the Ridgeway days!

I'm excited for a new Doctor, regardless of whether they're of a different gender or race or species *crosses fingers for 'or orientation' though*

This Christmas was a decent haul for me. I got the DW S4 DVD set (yay, Donna!), an electric violin, and a coat that makes me look like Harry Dresden!
