Thank you so to your family for posting these videos...I made this cake and it wowed my Mexican Husband... I tried once upon a time ago to make this and I didnt have a good recipe and he ate it but said it was not that great though..so I never tried again to make mexican dishes for him..cause I felt like a faliure. Now that I made this cake recipe He was shocked and he took cake to all his friends bragging to them that I had made this cake...Thank you soo much .please keep posting mex. Recipes.

Thank you soooooo much for this recipe! We used to eat tres leches all the time back home in Texas because it was readily available at the store. We moved to Virginia and cannot find a place that makes them. I made this cake for my husband's unit and the soldiers loved it and it disappeared in minutes! Because of your recipe I get a little piece of home and I am popular at my husband's shop! :-D

whats mexican crema? is it like sour cream?
did you remove the paper bags from under the cake or just cut the outer pieces?

I removed the paper. You could also use wax paper. Make sure you put one hand on the cake when you pull it out so it doesn't split apart. Good luck!
